Sony Case Study

Consumer electronics giant SONY Corporation contacted Oxford requesting assistance in the launch their new line of SONY CD Mavica digital cameras. These were the first digital cameras that recorded images to a CD-ROM. Our task was to elegantly convey that message in a fun way to a non-tech savvy demographic. Our launch included a website, product data sheets and an interactive CD-ROM. This camera series has been widely accepted with aggressive sales worldwide. The interactive FLASH website was a smash hit with SONY management and consumers.
Soon afterwards, SONY assigned their Retailer Product Catalog DVD to us. It included ALL of SONYs digital camera product line in a DVD interface menu design. We pushed the technology to the limits and created an award winning interactive DVD for their retailers.
Oxford adapted to the SONY marketing environment seamlessly and quickly captured the SONY Style. That is important for us and many vendors do not grasp our needs and requirements as well as Oxford did. From the beginning, they showed why they are the best in San Diego.
